A case of murder has been opened at Gamalakhe police station after a 36-year-old man from Qinabout was fatally shot in the chest during the early hours of Tuesday, May 28.
According to police, the victim was taken to a local clinic but had succumbed to his injuries.
“The motive for the shooting will be determined by the unfolding police investigations,” said the police department.
No arrests have yet been made.
