Donate a blanket or three this winter
The Lions project will provide warm blankets to needy people as well as four-legged friends.
As the cold sets in, there is a call for blanket donations to keep both needy humans and four-legged friends warm this winter.
* The Port Shepstone Lions are collecting new or used (clean) blankets for their Winter Warmth Initiative, which runs from May to August. Blankets can be dropped off at The Costume Shop at JTV Centre in Umtentweni (until the end of May), Engen Garage in Port Shepstone or contact Estelle on 084 4048648.
* The Lower South Coast SPCA is asking for either a donation, whether a blanket or any amount, to help make a real difference. Contact 039 312 0962.
