Scramble Drive for Suidies at Margate

The day promises to be loads of fun.

Margate Country Club is preparing to host the annual Suid-Natal Primary golf day, which will take place on Saturday, May 4.

There will be a shot-gun start at 11:00. The format is fourball alliance, Scramble Drive.
Cost to enter is R250pp and will also include prizes and a putting competition.

The 100 Club last Tuesday was won by Schalk Oosthuizen and Kevin Oxenham on 36 points.
Two-clubs were carded by Conrad Boonzaier, Poen Olivier, Kevin Oxenham, Des Potts and Robin Shuttleworth.

The Club Meat competition last Saturday was won by Kreeson Naicker and Kiara Naicker on 44 points.
They counted out Sashen Govender and Darshan Pather.

In third place on 42 points were Carlos Pereira and Conrad Boonzaier, counting out Poen Olivier and Johan Erasmus.

Two-clubs were carded by Graeme Massam (4th), Kevin Deley (11th), and Poen Olivier (8th and 11th).
Nearest-the-pins were struck by Cathy Meyer (2nd) and Graeme Massam (16th).

The ladies played an Alliance Waltz 1-2-3 last Tuesday, which was won on 79 points by Agnes Spielmann, Suzette Olivier, Hilary Hendry and Veni Deley.

Runners-up on 76 points were Sandi Johnston, Wonnie Bothma, Maureen Ogilvie and Agnes Spielmann.
Agnes had the only two-club at the 2nd.

The Wobblers game last Wednesday was won by Brian Jeffreys, André Henn and Thys Bothma on 77 points.
Runners-up were Johan Human, Bob Weanie and Wayne Minnaar on 76 points.
Third place went to Freddie Boshoff’s fourball on 74 points.
Wimpie Jordaan had a two-club on the 8th.

The Arthur Tomlinson Floater went to Hans Dallinger, Dave Morrison and Dave Hepworth on 68 points.
