Five nabbed for theft

Fever Local News | The four women had allegedly stolen at a service station at the Oribi Plaza.

Four women and a man were recently handed over to police by Lazer 911 for a case of theft.

According to the reaction unit, its control centre received a panic alarm from Engen Oribi. On arrival, they were informed that the suspects had stolen items and fled in a vehicle towards Umtentweni.

The security company said its response units from Umtentweni to Hibberdene were informed about the suspects and were given a vehicle description.

“Swift response from our units resulted in the suspects being apprehended and taken back to the client for identification. They were also seen moving suspiciously in our residential areas during the day but we could not pin anything on them. They were quite arrogant, we had to pin them to the ground for safety reasons,” said Lazer 911, adding that police were informed and that they were handed over.
