Angus finds top form at Margate CC

Scores have been consistently good.

The 100-Club on March 26 was won by Johann Erasmus on 38 points, with Johan Williams next on 37 points.

Angus McLachlan won the Club Meat Comp on March 27 on 40 points, edging out Robin Shuttleworth on 39 points.

The Club Meat Comp last Saturday saw Allan Halverson and Blake Taylor take first place on 50 points, by one from John Ford and Tony Ford on 49 points.

In the ladies’ comp last Tuesday, the winner was Sandi Johnston on 35 points, one ahead of Una McLachlan on 34 points.

The Wobblers’ comp was won by Danie Brummer, Dave Morrison and André Henn on 89 points.
Runners-up were Hans Dallinger, Freddie Boshoff and Johan Human on 86 points, counting out Nico van Vuuren, Rolf Spielmann and Thys Bothma.

The Arthur Tomlinson Floater went to Colin Penny, Jack Kukard and Wimpie Jordaan on 79 points.
The week before the 100-Club was won by Angus McLachlan and Mike Jones on 37 points.

The Club Meat Competition was won by Angus McLachlan on 38 points, with Carlos Pereira next on 37 points.
In the ladies’ comp, winners were Suzette Olivier and Sandi Johnston on 81 points, with the format being a multiplier.

The Wobblers comp was won by Rolf Spielmann, Thys Bothma and Frank Merrill on 84 points.
Next were Dave Hepworth, Brian Jefferys and Danie Brummer on 82 points.
