Lishen shines at Pro-Vision opener
Some interesting changes have been implemented.
Blistering heat and some solid golf were the talk of the day as Pro Vision teed off with its 2024 season at Port Shepstone Country Club on February 25.
Members were pleased to see the progress of Lishen Govender (15) who won the first fixture (overall) and Jerome Ragavan, who finished second in the C division in the second fixture.
Both have come through the club’s development programme.
The first fixture was sponsored by Jess Verster, resident professional at the club.
The March game, combined with the Chairman’s Cup, took place at Margate Country Club, sponsored by Naresh Deendayal of Old Mutual.
There have been some changes to the format for this year. Prizes have been added to the top three in each division and also two bonus points for the top five in each division.
Point allocation for the top 10 overall remains unchanged.
Next game is at Southbroom on April 7.
