Man sought by police

Police spokesperson Petros Mpinge said that two people were kidnapped after their white Chevrolet Spark was taken at gunpoint.

According to Port Shepstone police spokesperson, Captain Petros Mpinge, the person may be able to help detectives in a case of hijacking that occurred at Emagcino Bus Stop in Scottburgh on May 12.
Mpinge said that two people were kidnapped after their white Chevrolet Spark was taken at gunpoint.

“The suspects drove a distance with them and dropped them off on the side of the road after robbing them of their personal belongings. The vehicle was later recovered. Any information that will assist police can be forwarded to the investigating officer Warrant Officer Walter Mhlongo on 039 6241228 or 079 5000863 or the Unit Commander Lieutenant Colonel Adam Draai on 071 6836495,” said Mpinge.
