A group of elite karate athletes recently represented KwaZulu-Natal at the recent Arnold Classic Festival in Roodepoort, Johannesburg.
The event was once again held at the Ruimsig Stadium where a number of sporting codes were represented at the outdoor and tented venue.
It has been a busy few weeks for the karateka from WKF Ugu Karate, and another highlight on the karate calendar.
The karateka from the region continue to work hard and once again received a number of medals at the tournament which is an indication of their hard work and commitment these karateka show toward the sport.
Blake Hogan (Gold medal 12/13 kumite), Dylan Peeriyilal (Bronze medal 14/15 kumite), Miguel Gous (Bronze medal 12/13 Kumite), Ilhaam Amod (Bronze 14/15 Kumite), and Tyler Gous (Bronze 10/11 Kata and Kumite).
