Wood added that other dance styles to look out for are the Performing Arts of Ballet, Modern, Tap, Lyrical, Jazz, Disco Dance, Street Dance, Hip Hop, Show Dance, Slow Dance, Freestyle, Disco Dance, Popping, Break Dance, Latin and Ballroom, and much more.

“Our athletes competing in the world circuit sections have an opportunity to compete in the qualifier events, working towards representing their country at the relevant international dance organisation’s world championships. Sun City’s General Manager, Brett Hoppé, said: “Dance has cultural significance in South Africa, and is something that we at Sun City embrace with the many performers who waltz, Cha-cha-cha, two-step, freestyle and Setapa onto the resort throughout the year. We are thrilled to host The Battle of the Giants again this year and wish all the dancers well, as they battle it out for pole positions. The Battle of the Giants All-Styles Dance Sport Festival has been a popular event on Sun City’s entertainment annual calendar for three decades, with dancers and their supporters flocking to Sun City to be part of it. This year promises to be another exciting energetic and artistic showcase.”
