Speaking at the school, RNM mayor Sikhumbuzo Mqadi thanked the Department of Education officials, principals, educators, pupils, the support of School Governing Bodies and parents.
Mqadi said he appreciated the fact the Matric Class of 2022 excelled despite the Covid-19 pandemic.
“The pandemic shut down teaching and learning, and the devastating floods displaced some pupils. Remember that your journey to independence starts now as you enroll for higher learning. If you apply yourselves to your studies with the same spirit of hard work, you will not be disappointed,” said Mqadi.
