BRONWYN TANNER: Tuning In – Provincial colours for kickboxers

Congratulations to all local kickboxers.

Today, we recall that ghastly day in history, which sadly affected us all – September 11, 2001. Over two decades ago and those scenes are etched in our minds. The event which changed the world…

Well done to several mid-South Coast kickboxers who received their KZN provincial colours recently. They were presented with their certificates by Sensei Seema Esterhuizen of the KZN Kickboxing Association last Saturday. Coach Malcom Vincent is proud of everyone.

A reminder to all: The KZN Royals Chess Club invites you to showcase your strategic skills and compete in an exciting tournament. It will be Swiss-style and rated.

The age groups are U8, U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18. It will take place at Relton Hall this Saturday (14th) from 09:00 to 16:00.

Entry is R150. Cash prizes, trophies, and medals are up for grabs. For more information, contact The Royals on 066 2200848 or thekznroyalschessclub@gmail.com

The Mongoose Tea Garden at TC Robertson Nature Reserve is open every Wednesday from 09:00 to 12:00. For just R50 per person, you get coffee/tea, including a choice of three eats and two sandwiches. For more information, contact 082 6227699.

Take note: Anyone who has changed to the new number plates, please inform your tracking and insurance companies, as not notifying them could lead to them declining a claim.
