BRONWYN TANNER: Tuning In – Calling all chess enthusiasts

The KZN Royals Chess Club invites you to showcase your strategic skills and compete in an exciting tournament.

The tournament is Swiss-style and will be rated. The age groups are U8, U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18. It will take place at Relton Hall on Saturday, September 14, from 09:00 to 16:00.

* Pennington Methodist Church is holding a bazaar at the corner of Pennington Drive and Gumtree Road on September 28 from 08:00 to 14:00. There will be wors rolls, pre-loved goods, games, pancakes and treats on sale.

* Join the Keep Scottburgh Beautiful Fundraiser Golf Day at Scottburgh Golf Club on September 28.
