Secret Sithela in Munster is situated in a lovely, tranquil environment surrounded by nature, including a magical indigenous private forest reserve right next to a picturesque dam.

Glorious indigenous gardens surround the quality self-catering accommodation, including a phytoremediation system dealing with water from the sparkling pool – this is the most highly rated eco-friendly venue The Green Net has found in our area! A food forest for organic vegetables and herbs, with the developing food jungle alongside, demonstrates many of the permaculture and agroecology principles that will be shared and discussed on the day.

Walking the talk, apart from running workshops and functions, Secret Sithela also facilitate, promote and teach environmentally sustainable initiatives in the local rural community of KwaNzimakwe, increasing food security, regenerative knowledge and methods, and supporting a soup kitchen feeding lots of young children daily.

If you’ve ever wondered about growing your own food in the healthiest way possible, this day will give you lots of answers and information, with an opportunity to speak to those who have years of experience and knowledge.

The 20-minute power-packed talks are unmissable, the seed swap and plants for sale are high quality, and the free movie in the afternoon warrants viewing, thus offering an interesting and fun day out for the family. See you there!
