BRONWYN TANNER: Tuning In – Giving back to community

Community news and events for the mid-South Coast area.

First order of business for this week is a big thank-you to OK franchise division KZN for the R5000 donation to Elders Voice KZN.
The donation was deposited into their OK Pennington account which will go such a long way towards assisting with purchasing of their daily bread.
Elders Voice is most grateful for this help.

At the OK donation handover are (from left) Riccardo Franco, Sharon Nell (Elders Voice Pennington) and Anthony Maddocks.

Meanwhile, Sue Clark from Pennington Learning Centre and her students did their 67 minutes for Mandela Day by cleaning the beach.
The 30 pupils divided themselves into two groups.
Group one cleaned from the ski-boat club towards the beach café and group two from the beach café towards the ski-boat club.
They had their black bags and gloves and were ready to go.
Sue told Viv Sandwith of Tidy Towns Pennington that the students had a great time and loved doing something for the community.

Pennington Learning Centre has fun cleaning up on Mandela Day.
