Community news and events for the mid-South Coast area.

A lot of community events are happening in the next couple of days and weeks, so take note.

* Pennington Conservancy is holding a concert at Relton Hall featuring Madala Kunene and Guy Buttery on Sunday, July 21, from 13:30 to 15:00. Bring along picnic and refreshments, picnic tables and chairs. Booking and pre-payment are essential. Contact Mary McKenzie on 083 4415080.

* A Real Fresh Food and Farmers’ Market takes place every Sunday at TC Robertson Nature Reserve. Stalls are R50. For further information contact 064 0122044.

* A craft market will be held at Crocworld Conservation Centre on Saturday, July 27, from 09:00 to 16:00. Visitors can expect some great craft stalls, fresh produce, baked goods, live entertainment and more. There will also be a beer garden. Remember to take a camp chair too. Pieta Venter, a local singer and songwriter, will perform. Contact event organiser Lorna Thomson on 072 5078773.

* The NG Kerk is holding a golf day at Umdoni Park Golf Club on Sunday, July 28. The cost is R300 per play, which includes green fees, light dinner, prize giving, lucky draws and competition fees. Book on 039 975 1615.

* The Scottburgh Wellness Day and Food Fair will held at the Scottburgh Primary School grounds on August 10 from 10:00 to 20:00. For further information, contact 073 5756667.

* A Scottburgh Spring Market takes place in Scott Street, Scottburgh, on September 22 from 09:00 to 17:00. For further information, contact 072 5078773.
