There are quite a few events coming up in Scottburgh and surrounds, from markets to a trail run.

* A night market takes place at The Bell restaurant: Bell and 4 Cats Night Market on Friday, July 5, from 15:00. Contact Debby Anderson on 083 6250842 to book a stall.

* The Pennington Rec Club Market Day will be back in action at Relton Hall on Saturday, July 6, hosting The Elders Voice stallholders. Support local from 09:00 to 12:00.

* There is a fundraiser for animal sterilisation being held at the Italian Club on Saturday, July 6, called Paint, Prosecco and Pasta. It costs R350 per person from 11:00 to 15:00. Bring own apron; all paint equipment is supplied. Cash bar – no BYO. Bookings: 072 5813189.

* South Coast Renishaw Circuit is holding a Mandela Day Craigieburn Jungle Gym Revamp on July 18 at 36 Jacaranda Avenue, Craigieburn, from 09:00 to 12:00. The morning will include painting and fixing of the jungle gym, fun and games, food and cold drinks.

* The Scottburgh Wellness Day and Food Fair is being held at the Scottburgh Primary School grounds on August 10 from 10:00 to 20:00. For further information, contact 073 5756667.
