Guess what, my fellow South Africans, turn on the news, and what do we see? Why, it’s more service delivery-protesting South Africans.
Why, I ask myself, why? Why are they protesting again? Surely a lesson was learned – or not?
The lesson being that the regime before the May 29 elections did not show much mind for my fellow South Africans.
There were service delivery protests in the not-too-distant past.
There was opportunity for a change of administration, with promise of an improved and dedicated team to fix that which needed attention.
However, what seems to be the case now is that we are demonstrating our unhappiness with the fact that service delivery is still not being positively addressed. Wonder why?
Did the fellow South Africans decide to move their support to an alternative party? No! So, now you made your bed so lie in it and be happy, or not!
