OPINION: Kind act sees worker back on his bike

In November last year he had an accident which left his with a few broken ribs and some bruises.

Mandla Mqadi is a worker in Southbroom. He cycles to and from work everyday due to the high cost of public transport.

He is such a dedicated, hard worker and makes sure he is at work everyday, sometimes cycling in bad weather.
The hill from Marina Beach to Southbroom is a steep and dangerous stretch and he does that route every day.

In November last year he had an accident which left his with a few broken ribs and some bruises.
His bike was badly damaged and Mandla was not able to repair it due to financial issues.

Avid fellow cyclists, Mo Haffejee from Bobby’s Cycles in Port Shepstone and Sanjeevan Moodley from Truck, Tractor & Bus in Port Edward, were kind enough to help repair his bike free of charge and get Mandla back on the road in no time.
