We all love and regularly visit our local restaurants like C-Bali and Riptide, and others.
But we are wondering why Ray Nkonyeni Municipality, for a long time now, is granting only monthly lease extensions to these restaurants.
How can you invest, maintain, buy food and beverage stock and hire staff on a monthly lease term if you don’t know if you’re still running the outlet next month?
Why is RNM is not coming up with a lease solution for the totally damaged Mariner’s?
A closed Mariner’s in Marina Beach over the festive season – what a blow for the local tourism.
Even worse, 30 permanent and 35 temporary staff members are sitting at home in Gcilima, family breadwinners having no jobs.
So, RNM, what are your plans and how long are you going to run your business like this?
