Reminder: Local resident Mary Kwawula and her assistant Judith Mthembu at Nkomba area, Malangeni have an established vegetable garden where Mary and nine staff members tend to the planting and cultivation of a variety of vegetables which they sell at very low prices to the community. She has also started teaching and training school children at two local schools on how to grow vegetables. The vegetables are sold to the community at low prices and provide the neighbouring families with a steady supply of vegetables. She is urgently appealing to anyone who can assist her with a pump which is required to pump water from the river to her vegetable garden. The area has a fairly low level of rain and together with dry winds these elements threaten all the hard work which has been invested in the garden. Contact Mary on 079 8533726 or Judith on 063 2616454 if you are able to assist.
