Save the dates for a number of exciting December markets.

Umdoni Retirement Village is holding a Christmas Craft Market on Saturday, November 26 from 08:00 to noon.

A big attraction is the Tool Table (previously used and no longer needed tools). Also on sale – breakfast rolls, artwork, woodwork, needlework, beadwork, the works! It’s an indoor market with a difference. For further information contact Heather Butler on 076 5418610.

The Rec Club of Pennington is holding a market on Saturday, December 3 and Saturday, December 17 from 09:00 to noon. Contact Karen Verleur on 082 7864971.

The Selborne Christmas Market is on Saturday, December 17 from 10:00 onwards. Over 40 stalls and live music from 14:00. For further information contact Kirsten Cox on 082 8551969.

A group of ladies are hosting a morning tea for Elders Voice residents on Thurday, December 1. The organisers want to put together a gift pack for each person (10 tables seating six at a table plus 25 residents in frail care). The gift pack would consist of chocolates, sweets, biscuits, etc. For further information contact 083 7362996.
The Ward 10 by-election takes place on Wednesday, November 30. Special votes will be cast on Tuesday, November 29 at the voting station for voters who will be unavailable on voting day, and at home for voters who are physically disabled.
