PATRICK McAteer celebrated his 90th birthday at Summerhill lodge on Sunday, May 5.
Piper, David Alderson-Smith delighted Pat’s family and friends with some beautiful tunes.
Pat is wished many more happy and healthy years ahead by his wife Dorothy and his family, both in South Africa and Scotland.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all the mothers in our community a very happy Mother’s Day for Sunday, May 12.
I received the menu and notification of a gorgeous lunch at the Impithi Kiosk in Pennington – and discovered it is fully booked. Already. Wow!
Again, grateful thanks to those community members who have created a by-pass on the R102 so that travellers don’t have to go all the way around (the Sezela route).

This is a privilege that was not granted to so many for so long. Let’s grab this opportunity with both hands.
The cast and crew of UMPAC 2019 are extremely busy putting together a show full of entertainment.
