Port Edward Primary School extends its congratulations to a future rugby star in the making, Grade 7 learner Hlalumi Ntongana.
Hlalumi participated in an inter-provincial rugby tournament hosted at Kuswag during the September holidays as part of the South Coast Warriors rugby club.
Not only was Hlalumi selected as part of the KZN U13 Duikers IPT team, but he was also named as one of the tournament’s ‘Dream Team’ players.
The school is extremely proud of Hlalumi’s achievements, and many staff members will be following his future rugby career with great interest.
Congratulations also go to another Grade 7 learner, Alunge Ntshentshe, for his recent selection as a school prefect.
Alunge has shown tremendous personal growth and self-development throughout the year, and it was with great pride that the school announced his addition to the prefect body.
