In a moment of pride for Merlewood Primary, Grade 7 learner Linathi Moore has achieved remarkable success in the recent EMS quiz held by Ugu District at Suid Natal High School.
Competing against top learners from across the district, Linathi demonstrated exceptional knowledge and quick thinking to secure first place.
The competition, which covered various content in the Grade 7 syllabus, tested participants on their ability to think under pressure.
Linathi excelled in the final round, answering challenging questions with confidence and precision.
“We are incredibly proud of Linathi. This accomplishment is the result of hard work, dedication and a passion for learning,” said principal Nthabaleng Mohlaoli.
