A splendour of colour greeted everyone at assembly at Hlanganani Preparatory School last Friday.
The school celebrated Heritage Day as it will be closed on September 24. Learners and educators dressed up in their colourful traditional attire, and it was a day full of fun and activities.
Everyone enjoyed different traditional items, such as praise poetry, amahubo, gumboot dance, Zulu and Indian dance, Sotho and Tshwana dance.
Learners also enjoyed listening and singing along to cultural songs.
The U11 and U13 boys’ and girls’ soccer teams visited Creston College for a soccer tournament last Saturday. The learners showed great teamwork and won some of the matches.
