Merlewood Primary shows entrepreneurial spirit

It has been a busy week at the school.

Merlewood Primary‘s Grade 7s transformed their school into a bustling marketplace, showcasing their entrepreneurial spirit and creativity last Wednesday.

The highly anticipated market day saw learners setting up stalls, selling a wide range of products, from handmade jewellery and crafts to baked goods and refreshments.

Through this interactive learning experience, they applied mathematical concepts, developed teamwork skills and demonstrated innovative thinking.

The market was abuzz with excitement as younger learners and teachers supported their peers, fostering a sense of community and school pride.

The event’s success was a testament to the hard work, providing a valuable learning experience that will stay with them for years to come.
