Jai Hind Primary will hold its grand Heritage Day event this Saturday (14th).
The celebration starts with a family fun walk at 08:00, followed by a fun day on the main school grounds.
There will be a jumping castle, exciting games for children and stalls offering a variety of tasty food options.
Learners are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to showcase their talents at a heritage concert they have been rehearsing for.
Adding to the excitement are lucky draws with prizes totalling R18 000.
The grand prize is a fridge worth R4 200 and a weekend holiday for four worth R4 000, with additional prizes including a microwave, kitchen appliances, gift cards, vouchers and hampers.
The learner who raises the highest amount for the fun walk will be announced and will win a bicycle valued at R3 800.
