Creston immerses in fairytales and art

It was a special day overall.

Group 5 learners at Creston recently wrapped up their fairytale theme with a dazzling royal ball.

Dressed as royalty, they enjoyed dancing to enchanting music and a special royal high tea, fully immersing themselves in their fairytale roles.

In art class, Grade 2 learners embraced their transport theme by crafting vibrant hot air balloons and imaginative space rockets, showcasing their creativity.

Meanwhile, Grade 4 learners explored wind energy by building kites from recycled materials in their natural science lessons.

Athletic achievements were also in the spotlight, with Grade 2 boys honing their hockey skills for upcoming fixtures.

At Beaver Creek’s cross-country event, standout performances included Anitha Goniwe (first, U9 girls) and Siphesihle Magxala (second, U9 boys), along with commendations for Sarah Sahli (first, U10 girls), Nate Beekman (third, U12 boys), Jessica Stott (fourth, U13 girls) and Sazi Swana (second, U14 boys).
