Friendly rivalry at Hlanganani’s sports day
Hlanganani also thanks its staff, parents and learners who made the day successful.
Hlanganani Preparatory School held an exciting inter-house sports day at Suid-Natal High School last week.
The three competing houses, Sharks, Whales and Dolphins, challenged each other in a friendly rivalry.
Learners dressed in their house colours – blue for Dolphins, black for Whales and red for Sharks.
Grade R to 7 participated in a variety of races for their age group, such as the 100m, 200m, dress up, egg-and-spoon, donkey derby, fill the bucket and relay.
Parents also participated in a 100m race.
It was a wonderful day, and the school thanks Suid-Natal for the use of their field.
Two learners participated in the EMS competition at Marburg Secondary recently.
Asanda Malunga and Asanda Nene made the school proud. Unfortunately, they did not make it to the next round.
