Hlanganani shows off entrepreneurial skills

The Grade 7s sold a variety of goods and services.

Hlanganani Preparatory’s Grade 7s hosted their annual market day last Friday as part of their economic management sciences curriculum.

Learners displayed their entrepreneurial skills by selling different products for a profit.

They had a variety of goods to offer, such as ice-cream, cupcakes, hot dogs and more. Services included car washing, games and nail painting, to mention a few.

The market day was a success as the learners made a large profit and gained the skills to become future entrepreneurs. The school thanks the Grade 7 learners and Thobile Hlophe (EMS teacher) for a wonderful day of fun and learning.

The school was represented well in the last cross-country event at Beaver Creek. Snenhlanhla Gasa placed first in U14, Sbongakonke Mchunu came first in U11, and Anothe Zamxaka came second in U8.
