Creston celebrates outstanding achievements

Learners also shone brightly at the Eskom Expo for Young Scientists.

Creston College is proud to share its remarkable achievements in recent events and competitions.

The school has been honoured with five-star status in the esteemed Curro Arts Superhero (CAS) competition for 2024. This prestigious recognition places them among the top performers out of 168 campuses and over 13 000 entries across South Africa, Namibia and Botswana.

Learners also shone brightly at the Eskom Expo for Young Scientists on August 13. Congratulations to Lunje Mntonga, who earned a silver medal for the best project in her category (Western vs herbal acne treatment); Preason Cejay Naidoo and Arnaav Luckraj, who received a silver medal for their renewable energy project; Lwandile Bhengu, who was awarded a bronze medal for his nose blindness project; Aidan Di-Sante, who also secured a bronze medal for his fish tank and plant growth project.

The Junior and Senior Primary cross-country runners have continued to impress, with several securing top three positions in their respective categories.

In other exciting news, Eagle House emerged victorious over Falcon House at the JP Olympics, with grade winners displaying exceptional sportsmanship and talent.

Finally, The Interact Club participated in the annual Grannies’ Walk at St Michaels, spreading joy and community spirit.
