Teachers from Merlewood Primary recently enjoyed a unique team-building experience at Mpenjati Nature Reserve, where they not only connected with nature but also showcased their culinary skills in a lively cook-off.
The retreat, aimed at strengthening teamwork and camaraderie, included various outdoor activities designed to build trust and collaboration.
The highlight of the event was the friendly cook-off, where teachers formed teams to prepare meals using local ingredients. The competition was fierce, but the laughter and camaraderie made everyone a winner.
Principal Nthabaleng Mohlaoli remarked on the success of the event, noting that the combination of nature, teamwork and a bit of friendly competition helped to strengthen the bonds among the staff.
