Artistic robots showcased at Creston

From creative robotics to coding and eSports success...

At Creston, the Group 5 learners wrapped up their science and robotics theme with creativity and excitement.

Using recycled materials from home, they painted, glued and decorated their robots, showcasing their imagination and artistic skills in a fantastic finish!

Building on this, the Grade 2s also had a blast coding and programming their Novi Bots for the first time. They programmed their bots to spell ‘CAT’ and learned to attach an LCD screen, diving enthusiastically into coding and technology.

In the eSports highlight, the school is thrilled to share the results of the Minecraft Duos Build Battle finals. The Curro learners showed exceptional talent and teamwork, with the U14 team consisting of Morgan Gawler, Ethan Naicker, Joshua Govender and Mayson Ughelie achieving fourth place out of eight schools.

A special thanks goes to Wilmine Jansen van Vuuren for her outstanding co-shoutcasting efforts. The school also thanks all of its supporters.
