Spirit of giving at PS Senior Primary

This initiative encouraged learners, teachers and parents to come together in the spirit of giving, reflecting the values of selflessness and unity championed by the late Nelson Mandela.

Port Shepstone Senior Primary recently organised a food collection drive in honour of Mandela Day.

This initiative encouraged learners, teachers and parents to come together in the spirit of giving, reflecting the values of selflessness and unity championed by the late Nelson Mandela.

At a special handover ceremony on Monday this week, the collected food items were donated to Child Welfare Port Shepstone, a non-profit that plays a crucial role in caring for vulnerable children and families in the area.

This partnership underscores the school’s commitment to social responsibility and community service, as they aim to instil these important values in their learners.

Parent-teacher meetings were held recently, where parents had the opportunity to view their children’s work and discuss their academic progress. The meetings were well-attended, with positive feedback.
