Grade 7 tour was terrific

Learners also made the school proud for Mandela Day.

Grade 7 learners from Port Edward Primary School went on tour to TO Strand last week.

The learners took part in numerous activities, such as wall climbing, kayaking and archery.

They also thoroughly enjoyed competitions and challenges, such as a treasure hunt and fashion show.

Great memories were made for their final year of primary school.

The school thanked TO Strand Resort and the organisers, educators and coordinators for such an enjoyable tour.

The school’s pre-primary and Grade R-4 learners were treated to a fantastic puppet show last week Tuesday by well-known KZN puppeteer Heather Tomlinson from Puppet World.

The interactive show was all about the Olympics.

Learners made the community proud last Thursday as they did their part to celebrate Nelson Mandela Day by picking up litter on the school grounds and surrounding streets.

Thank you to those parents who assisted with this, as well as for the donations of black bags and gloves for the learners.
