Angus makes Izotsha proud

Angus did exceptionally well, achieving first position in a field of 93 boys.

Sport got off to a good start with extremely pleasing turnouts at all practices throughout the week at Izotsha Primary.

Mandela Day was well celebrated at the school, with Marion Oates visiting each class impersonating Mandela and explaining to them the relevance of the day.

The diaper and pre-loved clothes and toys drive was initiated by Tamlyn Henderson.

The diaper drive is to raise funds for diapers in support of El-Roi Baby Home, and the pre-loved clothes and toys will be distributed amongst poor communities in need in the area.

The school is proud of Angus Bunge (6-8 year category), who participated in the KZN Cross-Country Mountain Bike series at Maritzburg College on Sunday, representing Izotsha Primary School.

Angus did exceptionally well, achieving first position in a field of 93 boys. This was the first of a four-part series. The school wishes Angus well in the remaining three.
