Orals on sea animals delight at Southcity

The young presenters shared fascinating facts.

Last week, Grade 1 learners at Southcity Christian Schools impressed their teachers with delightful oral presentations about sea animals.

Each learner chose a different sea creature to research, from playful dolphins to mysterious octopuses. The young presenters shared fascinating facts, such as how jellyfish glow in the dark and how sea turtles travel thousands of miles each year.

The event aimed to encourage public speaking and research skills in early education. Their classmates were captivated by the colourful drawings and creative stories. The morning was a splash hit, leaving everyone eager for next year’s topics.

Meanwhile, at Port Edward Primary, the JP sports event saw little boys and girls putting their heart and soul into each game. The excitement and adrenaline were palpable with every victory celebrated and every player cheered on by enthusiastic supporters.

The morning concluded with heartfelt thanks to all the participating teams and special appreciation for the coaches and teachers. It was a memorable day, leaving everyone looking forward to the next sports meet.
