Creston enjoys dog show

A lot has been happening at the school lately.

Creston College Pre-primary, Junior Primary and Senior Primary learners and staff were thrilled by a special visit from The Incredible Dog Show.

The dogs, varying in size and breed, displayed incredible skill, diligence, agility and intelligence under the expert guidance of handler Lloyd Bristow. The show makes a positive difference in the lives of the humans who see it and their pets at home.

At Con Spirito, a national competition promoting culture and showcasing talent, learners from Creston excelled, highlighting their diverse abilities.

Creston proudly participated in Reach for a Dream Foundation’s Slipper Day last Friday, bringing hope and joy to seriously ill children.

Group 5 learners concluded their ‘farmers’ theme with a fun and educational visit to Fiddlewood Farm.

Grade 1s enjoyed a recent visit to the SPCA, learning to care for animals.

Liya Makongwana, Zoe Engelbrecht and Kunam Gidimisani qualified for Level 1 in their respective age categories for KZN Gymnastics, and all received bronze medals at the KZN Selection Championships.

Congratulations to Emma Thompson and Gemma Allchin for their achievements at the SKZN Swimming Awards.
