New leaders for Hlanganani

Sihle Mpofana read his way to third place in a reading competition hosted by Port Shepstone Library.

Hlanganani Preparatory had a busy week full of activities at school and around the South Coast.

Congratulations to Sazi Ngcece (head boy), Asanda Malunga (head girl), Hlonipha Shude (deputy head boy) and Asanda Nene (deputy head girl).

Sihle Mpofana read his way to third place in a reading competition hosted by Port Shepstone Library. He will participate in the next round in July.

The netball teams attended the Nomvete Netball Cup at Marburg Sports Ground recently. They showed teamwork and dedication and qualified for the next round.

The U9 boys soccer team displayed excellent sportsmanship on and off the field in a thrilling tournament at Creston College last Saturday.

Last Friday, the school had a successful fundraising pyjama day, where wors rolls, hotdogs, popcorn, ice cream and cake were sold.

Exams are now in progress, and parents must encourage learners to study and prepare for each assessment.
