Touch rugby stars shine at Sheppie High

They are: Amber Donald (U19), Cheydene de Bruin (U17), Bandile Thabede (U17), Chris Koekemoer (U17), Mpumelelo Nodangala (U17) and Elomso Diko (U17).

Port Shepstone High is bursting with pride as several of its talented learners have been selected for the Natal Touch Rugby trials in September.

They are: Amber Donald (U19), Cheydene de Bruin (U17), Bandile Thabede (U17), Chris Koekemoer (U17), Mpumelelo Nodangala (U17) and Elomso Diko (U17).

These trials act as a crucial selection process for the KZN provincial team that will compete in the Natal Trials in Cape Town.

Chris Koekemoer and Mpumelelo Nodangala showed exceptional skills, which resulted in them being selected to play in the U19 age group instead of U17.

They are wished the best of luck at the Natal trials, and the school hopes to see them shine on the provincial stage.
