Fun music lessons at CS Learning Centre

Music lessons with Carol Nash are always fun.

The students at CS Learning Centre are blessed to be able to enjoy and participate in fun music lessons with Aunty Carol Nash every Tuesday morning.

They get to learn new songs and actions as Aunty Carol plays the piano and leads all, with lots of student participation. To the sound of drums, egg shakers and tapping sticks, you can hear small voices sing out and see the children dance along.

Usually investigating the piano with Aunty Carol are friends Phiwokuhle Ndwalane (7), Yukeel Ramsunder (7) and Asiphile Gasa (5). These three certainly bring their sweet and unique personalities to music lessons, the classroom and the playground.

Eager to make friends, they love to play together and to join in each other’s games. With a love for height and speed, Asiphile can most often be found on the trampoline and loves to jump, while Phiwokuhle enjoys a good climb and slide on the jungle gym. Yukeel loves to play with toys, rolling things downhill, riding the scooter, and he especially loves fish (toys, pictures, and the letter ‘f’).

The students all love to make a noise and express themselves with sound and music and these lessons give them the perfect outlet to do so. From the little ones to the very big ones, the school is so grateful to Carol Nash and the generosity of her skills and time.
