Good competition at Izotsha’s galas

Please note that the high school fair is on February 22.

Izotsha Primary had an activity-filled week with the intermediate and senior phase inter-house long and short distance galas, cricket matches and World Read Aloud Day celebrations.

The intermediate and senior phase galas displayed some good competition and an enormous amount of exuberant cheering. Panther House was the overall winner, Leopard in second and Jaguar in third. Jaguar won the coveted Spirit Award.

Age group winners were Zara Moodley and Ruhaan Sookdew – U10; Skyla Nadauld and Peter Curtis – U11; Olivia Browne and Peter Koegelenberg – U12 and Ella Bunge and Callum Heydricks – U13.

World Read Aloud Day activities took place last Wednesday. All classes participated – some read individually, some in groups and others engaged in paired, shared reading.
