Jai Hind promotes joy of reading

The school's annual anti-bullying campaign begins soon.

World Read Aloud Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Jai Hind Primary recently.

Teachers encouraged active participation in the storytelling activity by means of dramatisation and recitation. The story of ‘The Lost Kitten’ echoed through classrooms and corridors. The different reading programmes hope to promote the joy of reading for pleasure.

The school displays a strong commitment to fostering a rich reading culture.

Term one is proving to be exciting, with the much-anticipated senior gala and the junior swimathon coming up.
The annual anti-bullying campaign will start soon. Odd Socks Day, Red T-shirt Day, and colouring and poster competitions are some of the events that will promote the campaign.

It is run to foster good relations and to encourage discipline among learners.
