Port Shepstone High celebrates top matriculants

The school obtained a remarkable 99.2 % pass rate with 79,5% of candidates achieving Bachelor passes, overall, 279 distinctions were achieved.

Port Shepstone High’s top matric achievers Mishka Maharaj and Ziphezinhle Ndlovu were invited to the ICC in Durban for the provincial National Senior Certificate ceremony, where they received awards for their outstanding results.

Mishka placed first in Ugu District and seventh in KZN, and Ziphezinhle Ndlovu earned second spot in the district.

“It is an excellent set of results. We recognise the contribution of all our staff, our school governing body, parents, and most importantly, the efforts of each and every Grade 12 learner in achieving these incredible results. We are very proud of these results and hope they inspire our 2024 Grade 12s to aim for even greater heights,” said principal Kerry McKillen.
