Bright stars lauded at Marburg Primary

Well done to all learners.

Learners were lauded for their excellence across various grades and subjects at Marburg Primary‘s award’s day function recently.

Among the bright stars of the evening was Ethan Heeralal, whose exceptional results and unwavering commitment earned him the prestigious Dux award. He was the most outstanding learner among the Grade 7s, and also scooped the Afrikaans, Mathematics, Natural Science and EMS awards, a testament to his dedication and academic brilliance.

Amidst the celebratory atmosphere, principal Dr Balenthran Gounden extended his heartfelt gratitude to the collective efforts of his hardworking teachers, parents, and the School Governing Body. Their unwavering commitment and dedication in nurturing and shaping the young minds at the school is deeply appreciated.

He reminded parents that through faith in God, all things are possible. His words echoed a message of hope, underlining the importance of faith and belief in achieving extra-ordinary and remarkable accomplishments.
Guest speaker Macaela Tyanne Manikkam highlighted the importance of academic growth and discipline in achieving good results.

Finally, the remarkable efforts of the teachers, parents, and the SGB were highlighted and honoured for their invaluable contributions. Their collective dedication plays a pivotal role in fostering an environment where the children not only excel academically, but also grow into well-rounded individuals poised to conquer the challenges of the future.
