PS Senior Primary awards high-flyers

Well done to all award recipients.

Port Shepstone Senior Primary hosted a well-attended awards day last Wednesday, highlighting the tremendous efforts of hard-working learners.

The guest of honour was Meryl van Wyk who inspired, guided, enlightened and motivated the learners with her words of wisdom.

Top achievers in the grades were Keandre’ Pillay (Grade 4), Husna Motala (Grade 5) and Tasmiyah Khamissa (Grade 6).

In Grade 7, the Perseverance and Diligence award was received by high-flyer, Muhammad Essack. The penultimate, the Dux Approximae award was presented to Tristan Moheethlall who showed much growth and diligence in his studies.

The highlight of the ceremony was the prestigious Dux award received by Aarav Rampersad, who was rewarded for his unstinting commitment towards his work. Tachiana Gonzalves and Sipho Ndondji received the Good Fellowship awards for promoting goodwill among learners and conducting themselves with dignity and decorum. Tachiana Gonzalves and Bandile Thabede received the Sports Girl and Sports Boy award for their outstanding co-curricular and sporting achievements.

The All Rounder awards were received by Tachiana Gonzalves and Lungelo Sabela for outstanding performance in both academics and sport. The school is proud of all awardees and congratulates them on their efforts.
The principal and staff wish learners and parents a safe holiday and a blessed festive season ahead.
