Creston selects 2024 leadership team

The school congratulates all learners for their remarkable accomplishments.

Creston College has experienced a dynamic and fulfilling year, marked by significant achievements and exciting developments.

A major highlight was the inauguration of the full-sized hockey astroturf in February, enhancing the school’s sports facilities. The term concluded with a notable assembly, announcing the 2024 prefect body.
Michael Potgieter and Kirsty Jackson have been named head boy and head girl, leading the 2024 leadership team. Additionally, committees such as Academic, Sport, Cultural, and Humanities have been introduced, headed by Kayla Niemand, Troy Christophers, Jamie-Lee Rogers, and Umar Razak, respectively. The leadership team for 2024 will be a formidable one.

Special recognition was given to Grade 7 learner Yuliya Gounden, who received the prestigious Dux award at the senior primary prize giving. Noel Coetzee, the executive head, commended Yuliya on her outstanding achievement.

The senior primary prize giving celebrated academic, sports, and cultural excellence, while the junior primary concluded the year with their prize giving followed by a captivating ‘Hosanna Rock’ concert the following day.
Congratulations to all learners for their remarkable accomplishments, shaping a year of pride and success for Creston College.
