RA Engar honours top learners

Learners from Grade R to 7 who demonstrated exceptional academic prowess were rewarded with gleaming trophies, symbolising their dedication and hard work.

RA Engar Primary hosted its prestigious awards day that recognises and rewards learners for their academic prowess, sporting achievements, and outstanding contributions to extra-curricular activities last Friday.

The ceremony, well attended by parents, special guests, and well-wishers, took on a special significance this year as the school chose to extend its appreciation to its valued partners in education. Individuals and organisations who have selflessly assisted, supported, and contributed to the welfare of both the school and its learners were presented with certificates of appreciation.

The heart of the ceremony was, as always, the recognition of academic excellence. Learners from Grade R to 7 who demonstrated exceptional academic prowess were rewarded with gleaming trophies, symbolising their dedication and hard work.

On the sporting front, Mzamo Dlamini claimed the prestigious soccer award. Sinothando Chiliza earned recognition as the most improved learner, a testament to dedication and continuous growth, while Mongezi Mthembu was honoured with the self-empowerment award, recognising personal development and resilience.
Akwande Bhengu emerged as a true academic star, scooping awards in English, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Life Orientation and Technology. To crown this remarkable achievement, Akwande was bestowed with the coveted Dux Award, in recognition of overall academic excellence.

RA Engar congratulates all awardees and bids a fond farewell to the Grade 7 learners. RA Engar also extends heartfelt thanks to all sponsors for their generous contributions.
