Honours for Creston’s Meriqé and Dallin

Well done to both boys.

Creston College congratulates Meriqé Pillay and Dallin Naicker for being awarded their Honours with Tie recognition at the end of term assembly.

Meriqé Pillay, a dedicated Grade 12 learner, boasts an impressive 15-year journey of academic and athletic excellence. From becoming the Grade Chess Champion in primary school to achieving numerous athletic records,

Meriqé’s leadership skills have been evident as a junior leader, athletics captain, and SRC representative. His sporting achievements include representing KZN Coastal hockey and qualifying for the SA Athletics team.

Academically, Meriqé has consistently ranked in the top 10 and currently maintains an outstanding aggregate of 92% in Grade 12.

Dallin Naicker, with a commendable commitment to academics, earned distinctions and the Dux Award at Scottburgh Primary during his primary school years. He continued to excel in high school, attaining eight distinctions, and ranking first in Grade 9 and Grade 10. Dallin’s friendly and positive demeanor earned him roles as an SRC member and prefect. In Grade 12, he maintains an impressive 91% average. These two Grade 12 learners exemplify Creston College’s commitment to excellence in education and sports.
