Reading is a priority at Hlanganani

Learners are sure to improve their reading skills through the new reading programme.

Hlanganani Preparatory School opened on Tuesday last week with happy faces, and everyone is starting to prepare for their assessments for Term 4.

The school feels blessed to have Jané Heydricks giving her time to the Grade 2 learners with a reading programme.

No-one is born with the ability to read as this needs time and practise to master, and to develop the skills of reading. Mrs Heydricks comes every Wednesday to read with the learners.

The school has also established a reading club to make reading a priority. Educators are also motivated to establish an environment of reading in the classroom and the library.

The school thanks Mrs Heydricks for helping the learners improve their reading skills and looks forward to a busy term filled with fun and learning.
